The (European Union) INTERREG 4 A funded project FURGY aims to establish a joint center of excellence for renewable resources and energy efficiency on both sides of the German-Danish border by 2012, which will achieve a cluster status at international level.
Scientific expertise, professional networks and active information policy in this sector will optimize the cross-border transfer of knowledge in business, science, politics and administration, create vital cooperative alliances, and generate innovative research and development projects.
